Hello, I’m Michael!
I’m an artist who has a passion for storytelling and creating fantasy worlds. My inspiration in early life was from the Japanese influence of Hayao Miyazaki. In this hectic world, and through the struggles of adolescence, I learned early on that I could bring my imagination to life through the comfort of pen and paper.
On most nights you can find me at my desk listening to some lo-fi and hard at work with my tablet. Even though I love making digital art, there is no greater feeling than the sensation of dried ink on the tips of my fingers after finishing a few manga pages.

Buri Spirits
Buri spirits are mysterious entities that inhabit the many worlds I create. They are playful in nature and are a sign of health and regrowth. These tricksters have even been known to play pranks on unsuspecting villagers and travelers they meet.
Considered good omens, Buri spirits are a cause for celebration if one can be deemed lucky enough to spot one. Buri spirits can be found in most places - embracing the many shapes and faces that resemble their surroundings. You will rarely find these beings inhabiting a city full of busy streets and even busier people.
